I obtained my original certification in Beauty Therapy from the Delia Collins school in London, England in the 1970s. Since then, of course I have undertaken many additional courses in England, as well as in the United States, in order to increase my knowledge in Skincare and in various Massage techniques, including Reiki.

In London I worked for Seiner's as an Aesthetician in their Marble Arch salon and spa as well as on board Cunard's  Queen Elizabeth 2. The 80's found me in the Caribbean on board the Royal Caribbean cruise liners. My first experience working in the United States was assisting a chiropractor in Miami Florida and then co-owning a salon with 2 British shipmates in Fort Lauderdale Florida called, appropriately, London Court Salon. After moving to New England I worked for several prestigious spas on the Seacoast. Caring for people with a wide variety of treatments, always knowing they will leave relaxed and renewed. 

During this time I taught both the 600 hour Esthetic course for State Board certification and the advanced Esthetic program for a period of 6 years. Most recently, I completed an Oncology esthetics course  and am a member of Oncology Spa Solutions so that I can help even more people and provide an oasis for patients going through their cancer journey.

The name for my business came about because many returning clients often commented how visiting me in my peaceful, clean, comfortable studio in Greenland,NH felt like a true escape!  They can now visit me at Spectra salon. 845 Lafayette Road in Hampton,NH. My goal has always been to assist people in both looking and feeling better. Whether for overall improvement or with specific recommendations.
